Use this guide to pay an invoice via check deposit

Navigate to Check Deposit
- This can be done in three ways:
- On the dashboard to the right of your balance is a “Deposit Check” button.
- At the top of the invoices tab, select actions > “Deposit Check”.
- When viewing an unpaid invoice, select options > “Deposit check for invoice”.

Fill out the check deposit details.
- Follow these steps in the check deposit form to begin a mobile check deposit.
2.1 Select the invoice that matches the check you are depositing
- The dropdown is searchable and ordered by date created.
- This dropdown is pre-populated if a check deposit was initiated from an invoice view.
2.2 Enter Check Amount
- The check amount must match the invoice amount you have selected.
2.3 Enter Phone Number
- A text with a link to upload the check images will be sent to this number.
- This field is pre-populated with the phone number associated with your account.
- If this is different from the phone number for the device you will use to upload the images, please change it now.
2.4 Send SMS
- You will receive a text with a link to upload pictures of the check shortly after.
- If you did not receive the text, use the “Resend” option.

Submit Check Images
- Once you have received the text, use the link to begin uploading.
- For best results, place the check on a dark background and ensure all four corners show within the border.
- Make sure it contains a restrictive endorsement.
3.1 Capture Front of Check
- Select “Take Picture” for the front of the check
- Allow the webpage access to the camera when prompted.
- Align the check with the white border on the screen and take the photo.
- Once the photo has been taken, you can use the red X to retake the picture if needed.
- When you are happy with the results, select the green check and proceed to the back of the check.
- The front of the check label will turn green, letting you know the front has been successfully uploaded.
3.2 Capture Back of Check
- To capture the back of the check, follow the same steps as above. When successful, the “back of check” label will turn green. If not, an error message will prompt you to retake the picture.
- Once both sides of the check have been uploaded, select “Continue” on the webpage.

Submit Your Deposit
- Make sure the amount listed matches the check amount.
- Read the disclosure, and click “Submit Deposit” when finished.

Return to Desktop
- Your account will refresh, and you will receive a confirmation message that your check has been successfully deposited. Select “Continue.”
- The invoice will show as pending and be labeled “mobile deposit” in the drawer view.

If the Check is Not Accepted
- Please make sure the amounts match and that they are endorsed correctly.
- Try the images again.
