Use this guide to navigate setting up your processing account once in Pocketbook.
What You Will Need:
Personal Info:
- Full name
- Date of birth
- Home address
- Phone number
- Email address
- Social Security Number (SSN)
- Role or Title with the business
- Ownership %
Business Info:
- Type of Business (Corporation, LLC)
- Legal Business Name
- DBA (if applicable)
- EIN
- Date Established
- Description of Business (1-2 sentences about what the business does)
- Business Phone
- Business Email
- Business Website (if applicable)
- Business Address (physical location only)
- Industry Classification (last time you put Prefabricated Metal Building and Component Manufacturing so we'll do that again)
- Expected Monthly Sales
To Begin:

Login
- Once logged into Pocketbook, a yellow header will let you know you must set up a processing account to enable payments and money movement.
- Select “Click here to get started.”
- Alternatively, you can use the green “Begin” button below the welcome message.

Begin Setting Up Your Account
- This page will provide a breakdown of the information needed throughout this process and important legal information.
- Select the “Start Now” button at the bottom to begin.
- Note: Having all this information readily available will help expedite this process.

Fill in your Business Information
- This page requires you to fill out the following:

Business Type
- This is either LLC or Corporation.
- Legal Business Name

EIN/TIN
- This can be found on an SS4 or other IRS documents.

Business Description
- A short general description of what your company does/sells.

Business Type
- DBA (Doing Business As) is only required if you operate under a name other than your business's legal name.
- Once filled out, select “Next” at the bottom.
- This page requires you to fill out the following:

Fill in the Business Contact Information
- This page requires you to fill out the following:
- Business Phone
- Business Email
- Business Website
- This is optional
- Business Address
- It must be a physical address. P.O. boxes are not allowed.
- Business Formation State
- Industry Classification
- Estimated Monthly Sales
- Once filled out, select “Next” at the bottom
- This page requires you to fill out the following:
- Fill in the Control Person Information
- Note: Only the control person is authorized to fill in this information.
- This page requires you to fill in the following
- Full name
- Residential Address
- It must be your residential address. No P.O. Box.
- Email Address
- This email should only be accessible to you, and not a shared inbox.
- Personal Phone Number
- SSN
- Date of Birth
- Role or Title
- Ownership percentage
- This is the share or portion of the business that you own.
- Select the checkbox to verify that you are the control person and have the authority to open an account for the business.
- Once filled out, select “Next” at the bottom.

Add Other Beneficial Owner Information
- This is required if any individual owns 25% or more of the company.
- Information needed for beneficial owners is identical to the Control Person.
- If more than one beneficial owner needs to be added, use the white “+ Add Beneficial Owners” at the bottom.
- To remove an owner, use the black “Remove Owner” above.
- Otherwise, check the box that all beneficial owners have been added, and select “Next” at the bottom.
- This is required if any individual owns 25% or more of the company.

Confirm Information
- Confirm all your information on this page is accurate before selecting “Next” at the bottom.

If it is not accurate, select “Cancel”.
- This option will require you to restart the application.
- If you would like to go back instead of canceling, use the top navigation menu, represented by circled checks, to visit any previous page.

Review and Agree to Grasshopper's Documents
- Review both Grasshopper's Business Account Agreement and Privacy Policy by clicking the underlined links.
- Agree to the documents by selecting the checkboxes.
- Select the green “Submit” icon.
Congratulations! You have nothing left to do. Once an application is submitted, it can take 3-5 business days to review, though we do our best to review applications as soon as possible. You will receive an email update with more information. Thereafter, you can send payments and move money within your account.
