Paying an Invoice - Credentialed

Use this guide to pay an invoice step by step for the 1st time. If you're having trouble with paying an invoice after you've logged in, please see: Payment Troubleshooting

 

Step One: Viewing the Invoice 

Invoices are sent to your email address with a summary of the invoice, including the amount, due date, and a contact for the business that sent the invoice. To view the invoice in full, select the "View and Pay my Invoice" button in the email. From the invoice preview, if you would like to download the invoice as a PDF, select "Download Invoice" in the upper right hand corner. To proceed with payment, follow the steps below.

 

Step Two: Creating your Account

  1. Select 'Click here to create an account' underneath the 'Connect Bank Account' button from the guest pay screen.
  2. Enter your information in the fields to create your account. This only needs to be completed the first time you pay an invoice.
  3. Click Submit.
  4. Create a password for the account. 

  5. Click Submit.

     

Step Three: Paying the Invoice

  1. Once logged in, you should be taken to the invoice. (If not, click Invoices in the left side panel and click Pay next to the invoice)
  2. Click Pay Invoice
  3. Select Payment Method
  4. Click Connect Bank to Pay
  5. A window will appear from Plaid. Plaid allows you to link an account to pay the invoice. 
  6. Click Continue
  7. Choose how you'll link your bank account:
    1. Instant - Instantly link your bank account using your login information for your bank
    2. Manual - Use your account and routing numbers to initiate a trial deposit. Please note this can take up to 2 business days in some instances.
  8. Follow the prompts to enter your information.
  9. If you are having trouble linking your account, please see Payment Troubleshooting.
  10. Once the account has been linked, it will appear as an option to select for payment.
  11. Click the account.
  12. Click again to confirm the payment.
  13. A success message in the upper right will let you know your payment has been processed successfully, and you will be redirected to the invoice page.
  14. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address you used to sign up.
