Contacts are your customers or anyone you want to send a contract or invoice to and receive payment from. Learn how to create a contact quickly and easily in Stella Pay.

Navigate to Contacts
- Go to your Stella Pay dashboard and click Contacts in the left-hand menu.
- Note: Contacts can also be found in the shortcuts menu in the top right of any screen, or, at the top of your dashboard next to your balance.

Create a New Contact
- Click the green “Create a contact” button at the top.

Fill Out Contact Details

In the contact form, fill out these details to create your contact.
3.1. First Name
3.2. Last Name
3.3. Email Address
3.4. Phone Number
3.5. Tags
- Add any relevant tags to give extra context to your contact. These are internal.

Fill Out Business Information
- In the bottom section of the form fill out the contact’s business information to complete creating the contact.

Note: The details in this section are optional EXCEPT when the contact being created has a business email address. In this case, a business name is required. For more information, refer to our help article here: Business Names
4.1. Business Name
- This is only required when the contacts email contains a business email address.
- For contacts with a public email (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo), the business name will autofill as the first and last name only when left blank.
4.2. Business DBA
- This is for businesses operating under a name different from their legal name.
4.3. Physical Address
4.4. City
4.5. State
4.6. Zip/Postal code

Create Contact
- After clicking Create Contact, a green banner will appear on the top right.
- They can be found in the contacts menu listed in alphabetical order.

Send Confirmation
- A green banner will appear at the top of the screen, confirming your invoice has been sent successfully.
